90-92/100p burghound.com: A discreet application of wood frames elegant if slightly earthy red currant aromas that also display a sauvage note but in this case it's much more subtle than that of the Clos du Roi. I very much like the detail and appealing texture of the delicious and caressing medium weight flavors that deliver good length on the balanced finale. This isn't nearly as concentrated as the best of these grands crus but it is undeniably pretty.
